In October 1977, a little over a year before she died, Rene Caisse did finally sign the sole rights to her original proprietary herbal formula and the ESSIAC® name to "RESPERIN CORPORATION", a Canadian company , because of their commitment to access the use of ESSIAC® on humans. This botanical formula is produced to ensure maximum potency and effectiveness, is based on her lifetime mission of healing. Dr. Charles Brusch witnessed the signing over to RESPERIN CORPORATION the sole rights to Rene Caisse's complete and original proprietary herbal formula including the trademark attesting to the fact that: The Complete ESSIAC® formula was never revealed to ANYONE other than RESPERIN CORPORATION.
Many years before acquiring the original formula, RESPERIN interceded for Rene Caisse at Federal and provincial government levels to make ESSIAC® easily and widely available to everyone. For a long time it was difficult to obtain ESSIAC®. Now it is widely available through Healthcare Practitioners, Pharmacies, health and nutrition centers and distributed world wide over the Internet by ALTERNATIVE HEALTH PRODUCTS INTERNATIONAL.
UPDATE:
Rene Caisse's original Essiac formula was legally transferred to Essiac Products Inc. of New Brunswick, Canada in 1995. RESPERIN of Toronto legally dissolved in 1998 after the death of company president, David Fingard.
In 2002, ownership of the original Essiac formula owned by Essiac Products Inc. of New Brunswick was legally transferred over to Essiac Canada International Inc. of Ontario, Canada. Today, it is Essiac Canada International Inc.who manufactures Rene Caisse's original formula. The genuine and legal ESSIAC formula and the preparation of the herbal tea remains the same, since it was legally signed over to Resperin of Toronto in 1977.
No other company has the Original formula. The way the herbs are grown, harvested, prepared and mixed in the right proportions is the main reason why the Nurse Rene Caisse's Proprietary Herbal Formula is so efficient.
